WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST

(03-04-2005) PART 1

We are not of this world but we are in this world.
An ambassador is a person sent to a foreign country to represent his/her own government. An ambassador does not represent his own interests but that of his country.

2Corinthians 5:20 We are Christ's ambassadors. We represent the kingdom of heaven. We represent Christ.
Galatians 2:20 When I live I live for Christ. I represent Jesus even in my way of life. I live by the faith of Jesus.
Matthew 6:10 We are the ones to enforce God's kingdom here on earth. The will of God is done through us here on earth.
Mark 16:15-18 We do the works of Jesus in his name.
John 14:10-12 When an ambassador speaks, he does not speak of himself. We do the works of Jesus because we are his representatives.
Matthew 16:18-19 The gates of hell cannot prevail against the church of Jesus Christ. We have the keys of the kingdom of God. We have authority to bind or loose things and they should happen like that.
This dying world needs Christ, you are his representative, show him to the hopeless.
Luke 4:18,19 Just as Jesus was sent to deliver and set people free, he also sends us to set at liberty them that are bruised.
We have to preach the message of hope.
