We are not of this world but we are in this world.
An ambassador is a person sent to a foreign country to represent his/her own government. An ambassador does not represent his own interests but that of his country.
An ambassador does not speak his personal position but that of his country.
An ambassador is totally covered by his government:
-Meeting his/her needs Philippians 4:19
-Protection Matthew 26:53
2Corinthians 5:20 We are Christ's ambassadors. We represent the kingdom of heaven. We represent Christ.
Matthew 6:10 We are the ones to enforce God's kingdom here on earth. The will of God is done through us here on earth.
Our Father in heaven provides for us here on earth.
John 17:11,14-18 We are in this world but we are not of the world
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world…
Amos 3:7 The Lord will do nothing on earth without first consulting the ambassadors.
Matthew 16:18-19 The gates of hell cannot prevail against the church of Jesus Christ. We have the keys of the kingdom of God. We have authority to bind or loose things and they should happen like that.
Luke 4:18,19 Just as Jesus was sent to deliver and set people free, he also sends us to set at liberty them that are bruised.
We have to preach the message of hope. This dying world needs Christ, you are his representative, show him to the hopeless.
John 14:10-14 When an ambassador speaks he does not speak of himself but he speaks on behalf of his kingdom/government. We do the works of Jesus because we are his representatives here on earth. If you ask anything in the name of Jesus he will do it.
