BE CAREFUL OF YOUR WORDS

Proverbs 18:20-21 You will be filled with the fruit of your lips. You will get what you confess. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Mark 11:23 You shall have whatever you say. Your words have creative power. Even God created through words – Genesis 1:1-5. God knew that he should only confess what he wants to see. God did not speak darkness even though it was dark

. Numbers 14:28-32 As you speak, so shall it be - even if what you have spoken is bad for you.

Ten of the twelve spies said that they were not able and the indeed did not manage. Joshua and Caleb said that they were able and they managed.

Your words can work for you or against you.

The words of Caleb and Joshua worked for them while the other ten spies' words worked against them

2Corinthians 4:8,9,13 Even though things may be tough, keep speaking what you believe. We have the same spirit of faith that we speak what we believe

. Matthew 12:33-37, Malachi 3:13-18 God listens to our words. You will give account of every idle word that you speak.

Even Jesus spoke his desires into being through words and he also teaches us to use words for our victory. Mark 11:12-14,20-23

Romans 4:17-24 Even God calls things that be not as though they were. Abram was called Abraham before he even had a child (Isaac). Genesis 17:5

James 1:19 Be quick to hear (listen) but slow to speak. Know when to talk and when to keep quiet.

Listen well before you answer. It is foolish to answer a matter before you hear the whole issue. James 1:19    Proverbs 18:13 Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool, when he is quiet, is considered wise. A person who shuts his lips is considered a man of understanding.

Psalms 141:3 Set a guard, oh Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. (Confession)
