*Isaiah 1:19-20 If you be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land but if you refuse and rebel you shall be devoured by the sword. From this verse does it seem like for you to eat the good of the land is God's choice ?
God has already done his part. Now the ball is in our court.
*Deuteronomy 30:19-20 You have a choice – life or death, blessings or curses.
*Deuteronomy 5:29
Examples
1.*Mark 5:25-34 The healing of the woman with the issue of blood was up to her. If she did not go to Jesus she could have bled to death.
This lady took a decision (willing) followed by action (obedience)
2.*Mark 10:46-52 Jesus asks, "What do you want me to do for you. Tell Jesus what you want.
3.*Matthew 15:21-28 The healing of the Canaanite woman's daughter was not up to God (Jesus) but it was up to this woman. Even your healing is up to you. Jesus has already done his part. 1Peter 2:24
4. *1Kings 17:8-16 Why did God choose a widow woman and not a rich man? He can use whoever is available. Never say to God, "I can't because I have too little." The widow woman obeyed and she was sustained.
5. Provision of food. *2Kings 7:3-8 The four lepers were not satisfied by their state of affair. "Why sit we here until we die?"
So why do you also not do something about your situation?
More choices:
Luke 6:38, Proverbs 11:24-26 Giving and receiving
Malachi 3:8-12 Tithe (Blessings), (Curses as a result of no tithing)
*Job 22:28 You will decree a thing and it shall be established unto you.
