19-08-2007 Part 3 – The Favour factor
When God promised the children of Israel the promised land, He did not promise them the desert but they had to pass through the desert.
Deuteronomy 8:1-3 The Israelites went through the desert before they could reach the promised land. God allowed them to go through the desert to know what was in their heart. What do you do when you go through the desert?
Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
John 16:33 In the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer; Jesus has overcome the world.
John 17:15 The Lord will preserve you from evil, he does not have to take you out of the world.
When the robot is red, do not make a U-turn, it will soon be green. You may be delayed, but you will not be denied.
When you go through the desert or when things are tough do not forget the favour factor.
Genesis 37:5-10 Joseph had a dream which show that his parents and brothers will bow to him. The dream did not reveal the difficulties that will precede the fulfilment of the dream.
