(26-09-2010) FROM ONE MAN GOD MADE ALL DIFFERENT PEOPLE
Acts 17:26 We are all from one man (Adam). We are from different nations and cultures, but we were made of one blood.
Acts 17:16-34 Paul understood and respected other people's culture. Let's not judge each other's culture; we must only judge what is contrary to the Word of God.
1Corinthians 9:19-23 Paul could adapt to other people and their culture as long as it was not contrary to the Word of God.
Colossians 2:4-8, 16-23 Now that you are a Christian, let nobody deceive you to follow tradition of men. Do not be swayed from Christ because of culture.
Matthew 15:1-9 Jesus rebuked the scribes and the Pharisees because they followed their tradition at the expense of God's command.
Diversity should be seen as strength. Let's treasure and appreciate our uniqueness. We are like flowers of different types and colours which blend together to make a beautiful whole.
