*Isaiah 1:19-20 If you be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land but if you refuse and rebel you shall be devoured by the sword. From this verse does it seem like for you to eat the good of the land is God's choice ?
*Matthew 15:21-28 The healing of the Canaanite woman's daughter was not up to God (Jesus) but it was up to this woman. Even your healing is up to you. Jesus has already done his part. 1Peter 2:24
*Mark 5:25-34 The healing of the woman with the issue of blood was up to her. If she did not go to Jesus she could have bled to death. This lady took a decision (willing) followed by action (obedience)
*2Kings 7:3-8 The four lepers were not satisfied by their state of affair. "Why sit we here until we die?"So why do you also not do something about your situation? *Mark 10:46-52 Jesus asks, "What do you want me to do for you. Tell Jesus what you want. *Joshua 1:3,5-9 Even though God has already given us the promised land but we still need to posses the land. Our success is already guaranteed but we have a part to play. We need to spend time in the Word of God.
*I Timothy 4:13,15 Spend time in the Word, meditate upon the word = your progress will be evident to all.
*Proverbs 4:20-23 Attend to the word, keep the word in your heart. The word is life and healing to your flesh. The word is the source of our victory.
*Mark 4:3-13,14-20 The parable of the sower. Satan wants to steal the word from your heart because he knows that the word you have is a threat to him. The same sower sowed the same kind of seed but the kinds of ground were different. Same preacher preaches the same message, but different listeners/recipients get different level of success based on their diligence.
