1Corinthians 12:12-27 We are the body of Christ. We are different parts with different functions in the body of Christ. We need each other. We should work in harmony and support each other because we are a family. What role are you playing in your local church.
Nehemiah 4:6 "…, for the people had a mind to work." Do you have a mind to work? Let's learn from the book of Nehemiah how to work.
It is easy to analyze, scrutinize, and talk about the problems in the world or in church, but we need people who will do something about them.
New Living Translation
Nehemiah 1:1-4 Nehemiah asked about what was the state of Jerusalem and the people there. After he heard the answer, he did something about the problem. There are people who ask just to satisfy their minds but do not help.
Nehemiah 3:1-32 shows that different groups of people built different portions of the same job. Everybody has his part to play.
Nehemiah 4:1-6 Sanballat and Tobiah tried to discourage them, but they continued because people had a mind to work. When the enemy tries to discourage you, keep on keeping on.
Nehemiah 4:12-23 When the adversary comes, some were ready to fight while others were building. Even those building they had one hand in work and another in holding a weapon. We need to work and still engage in spiritual warfare against the enemy.
