14-05-2006, 21-05-2006 1John 5:4-5 We who are born of God overcome the world through our faith. We have winning genes in us because our Father is a winner.
Revelation 12:7-11 Satan is defeated. The only weapon that the devil has is deception. If he cannot deceive you, then he cannot defeat you. We overcome Satan by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony.
Ephesians 6:10-18 We do not fight the devil with our own armour but with God's armour. You are no match for Satan if you fight him in your own power. Some people even become hopeless even to the point of suicide because they cannot match the devil on their own.
We do not fight against flesh and blood.
In any confrontation with the enemy, we stand our ground until we win.
Romans 8:31,35,37-39 God is on our side. Nobody can defeat us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Failure is not final. Failure only means that you will arrive a little bit later (but you will still achieve if you try again). A successful person is the one who knows how to stand up even after a disappointment. Don't focus on your failures/limitations but focus on the unlimited God. As long as the Lord is on your side you can make it.
Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Joshua 1:5 Nobody can stop your success. The Lord will not fail you and he will not forsake you.
1John 5:4-5 If you are born of God you are an overcomer. Believe God that indeed you are an overcomer. Have a winning attitude. One U.S Army General once said, "Some of you soldiers have come with a mind to die for your country, but that's not how to win a war. To win a war you need to make your enemies die for theirs."
John 16:33 Jesus has overcome this world for us. He deprived it of any power to harm us.
Against all odds, David overcame Goliath. 1Samuel 17
1 Samuel 17:10-11, 23-24 Goliath, just like Satan, worked by instilling fear.
1 Samuel 17:23-27 The Israelites were afraid of Goliath. They saw him as a threat but he saw him as a prize.
1 Samuel 17:45-47 When the enemy challenges you; speak the word. Your victory is in the Word. When Goliath challenged David, David spoke in the name of the Lord.
1Samuel 17:48-51 What the enemy has intended for your destruction, use it to your advantage. David used Goliath's sword. It is your turn to cut your enemy's head.
1 Samuel 17:55-58, 31-39 God will take you from obscurity to prominence. At first, Saul did not bother to know much about David but after the victory Saul wanted to know much about David.
