GOD'S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

(26-01-2004 Our first service), 29-05-2005, 24-09-2006, 20-04-2008, 18-07-2010

Ephesians 2:10You are God's handiwork. God created you for good works. He planned your life before you were born. "I am created for good works."
Jeremiah 1:5 God knew you even before you were formed in your mother's womb. He appointed me to be a teacher of the word. All I need to do is to follow his plan so that I can fulfil my purpose in life.

Ephesians 1:4,5,11 Actually God chose us before the foundation of the world.
God has predestinated us according to his purpose – he works out everything to conform to his plan about our lives. Pre = before destination= where you will end up.
Our ending is already finalised. It is a good ending.
Jeremiah 29:11 God has good plans for us. Even though the children of Israel were in captivity, God had not forgotten them. God has not forgotten about you.
Genesis 41:37- Your promotion may be delayed but you can never be denied your promotion

Genesis 37:2 and Genesis 41:46, Genesis 45:6 shows that it took many years from the time Joseph had a dream until it came to pass.
    13 (30-17) years + 7 + 2 years = 22
1Chronicles 4:9-10 Jabez (sorrow maker/pain) did not allow his past to determine his future. He prayed that evil and hurt (pain) should be far from him; and God granted him his request. You cannot change your past but you can determine your destiny.
1John 3:8 Even Jesus knew God's plan and purpose for his life
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (Ampl.) Fear God and keep his commandments – this is the original purpose of man's creation.
2Timothy 4:6-7 At the end of our lives we should be fulfilled and should have finished our course like Paul

    *Genesis 16:6-14 God sees us.
*1Peter 3:12 His eyes are upon us.
*Hebrews 13:5 The Lord never leave us nor forsake us.
*Genesis 37, 39-45 An example of Joseph.
The Lord was with Joseph, He never left him. Joseph had a dream that his brothers will bow to him. His brothers hated him and wanted to kill him (Genesis 37:20) to destroy his dream.
But God's plan for your life can preserve you. Hebrews 11:17-19
They decided to sell him as a slave to the Ishmaelites who also sold him to Potiphar. The Lord was with Joseph (Genesis 39:2) and he was a successful man even though he was supposed to be a slave to Potiphar but he ended up being in charge of his house. (Genesis 39:1-6)
Potiphar's wife lied against Joseph and he was jailed for the offence he never committed. But even in prison, the Lord was with Joseph and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of prison and he became in charge (Genesis 39:21-23)
God worked out His plan to get Joseph out of prison to become governor of Egypt – and his brothers ended up bowing to him as was planned. (Genesis 44:14- )
