FAITH COMES BY HEARING

*We all have different needs to be met by the Lord. Faith is a hand to receive from the Lord.
*Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing.
(Faith in God comes by hearing the Word of God)
Note that faith comes by continuing to hear – hearing. It is not enough just to hear once. Continue hearing the Word as you speak it (John 8:31). Continue hearing the Word as others speak it.
*Mark 4:24 (Amplified) Be careful what you are hearing. The measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you.
What you keep on hearing will affect your life – it will bring fear or faith. As such you need to guard and keep your heart with all diligence. Proverbs 4:23
Proverbs 4:20-22 You guard your heart by feeding it the Word of God. You guard your heart by sifting what gets into your heart.
Joshua 1:8 The word of God must not depart from your mouth. Keep on speaking the word.
*Psalms 1:1-3 The word of God will make you to be always successful and prosperous. You will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water – always bringing forth fruit in its season
*Isaiah 40:31 Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength – they will always mount up with wings as eagles (they will not be weary, they will not faint)

*Job 23:12 Esteem God's Word more than your daily food.
*Luke 10:38-42 One thing is needful – the Word. Don't be too busy and neglect the Word of God.
*I Timothy 4:13,15 Spend time in the Word, meditate upon the word = your progress will be evident to all.
*Mark 4:3-13,14-20,24 The parable of the sower. Satan wants to steal the word from your heart because he knows that the word you have is a threat to him.
The same sower sowed the same kind of seed but the kinds of ground were different. Same preacher preaches the same message, but different listeners/recipients get different level of success based on their diligence.
